- “A Local’s Guide“: Based on your time, interests, abilities, and leadership concepts we will discuss, we will provide you with a local’s guide of the best (and lesser known) things to see and do in the Cedar and/or the Parowan areas. Generally 2-5 hours.












- The Cosmos and Parowan Gap: Examine the archeoastronomy interpretations of the petroglyphs while learning about the ancient Fremont Indian culture. Generally 1-2 hours.




- The Old Spanish Trail: Travel back in history to learn about the Old Spanish Trail and see amazing rock carvings left by these travelers and visit key historic places along the way. 2-4 hours.








- Of Ghosts and Pioneers: We will visit some ghost towns and pioneer ruins while learning about the history of southern Utah. We will have a few side stops at some dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, and abandoned mines. 3-5 hours.









- A Walk Among the Ancients: We will explore petroglyphs, pictographs, and Indigenous caves while learning about the Fremont Indian culture and local myths and legends. 2-4 hours.





- Star Gazing up Cedar Canyon: Enjoy the clear southern Utah sky from 9,000+ feet above sea level while we learn the basic constellations for a guide. 2-3 hours.


- Of Iron and Lions: We will explore the old iron town ruins and learn the legends of the amazing Lion Mouth pictographs. 3-4 hours.





- Underground: On this experience, we will explore the wonders of some local underground lava tube caves. 3-5 hours. Helmets, gloves, and headlamps provided by us.







- ‘Beach’ day in the Desert: We will spend a few hours or the entire day at a nearby mountain lake or local reservoir kayaking, swimming, playing beach games, and learning. Call for details and pricing; group rates available.
